http://www.thegodmovie.comThe website says...Bowling for Columbinedid it to the gun culture.Super Size Medid it to fast food.NowThe God Who Wasn't Theredoes it to religion.Holding modern Christianity up to a merciless spotlight, this bold and hilarious new film asks the questions few dare to ask. And when it finds out how crazy the answers are, it dares to call them crazy.Your guide through the bizarre world of Christendom is former fundamentalistBrian Flemming, who unflinchingly explores the absurdity of belief and believers. Along the way, you will discover:Jesus Christ is likely a fictional character, a legend never based on a real human.Christian doctrine contradicts itself at every turn, and encourages immorality when it serves the religion. The beliefs of moderate Christians make even less sense than those of extremists. And God simply isn't there.!--Along the way, Flemming confronts those who once persuaded him to fear the wrath of God and conduct a "personal relationship" with that god's son.The soundtrack byDJ Madsonincludes remixed work byDavid Byrne,Thievery Corporation,Le TigreandZap Mama. -->The God Who Wasn't Theremay delight you or anger you. Perhaps it will do both. But you'll never look at Christianity the same again.Hold on to your faith. It's in for a bumpy ride.

At the risk of upsetting the makers of this film, you can download two versions using Torrent files.  One is the movie only and the other is the complete DVD rip with all the extra features.

It's an amazing movie and really should be seen.

You will need a BitTorrent programme to download it.  A good one is found at www.bitcomet.com

The Torrent files are:

Movie only:  http://ts.searching.com/directory.asp?mode=torrentdetails&id=479461

Complete DVD rip:  http://ts.searching.com/directory.asp?mode=torrentdetails&id=396531

Good day from Pheba:  I just ordered this film, and paid a pretty penny for it, so I hope it is as good as you say it is.

I don't have the equipment to download films, and would never download anyway without the authors express permission.

To me it is stealing.   I will post a review as soon as a I view the film.

I am also planning on purchasing "Jesus Camp".  I will review on that one also.

Good day from Pheba:  I purchased this film and watched it.  I plan on watching it again to see if I missed something.

I did not care for the film.  I thought the information was vague, and the quality of vintage film footage was kind of shabby looking.

I did like the film footage from Passion of the Christ.  Mel Gibson's film.

Actually I found the Special Features interviews superior to the film itself.

The soundtrack is available if you purchase the DVD through their website. Once your transaction is complete, you get a new page with all the tracks in downloadable form.
