This is what god does to people who voted George Bush into office.

Really, though, then it should be hitting right here in Texas.
I can't help but feel sorry for Florida, though. They just can't catch a break.

Maybe Bush will try to postpone the elections because of weather, not a terrorist attack. Wait! Maybe this is an attack! Osama has had his Islamic warrior pilots zipping over the oceans, seeding the clouds, thus breeding multiple super storms!
Hey, why isn't Pat Robertson out there, rebuking the storms away? He must only do that for Virginia Beach.

Hey, why isn't Pat Robertson out there, rebuking the storms away? He must only do that for Virginia Beach.
Yeah, why doesn't he just stand up an say "peace, be still" like Jesus did?
Bush's brother had this to say in a Yahoo News Article:
"It's sad," said a weary Florida Gov. Jeb Bush. "I don't know quite why we've had this run of storms. You just have to accept that."
Whatever happened to "God is in control" or "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." (Rom. 8:28)?
Meanwhile, hurrican Jeanne is headed straight for Florida and there are 73 days left in the hurricane season. I also can't but feel a little gratified after hearing so many people poo-pooing global warming. Scientists have been warning that global warming will generate more intense storms for years.

BOCA RATON, FL (MGB) - This week, in yet another bizarre statement, Vice President Dick Cheney claimed that if America makes the wrong choice in November and votes John Kerry in office, it would face more threats of hurricane attack in the future.
"If we, and by we I mean you, make the wrong choice, and by wrong choice I mean voting for Kerry, then the danger is we, and again by we I mean you, will get hit again, and by hit again I mean your children will die, in a way that will be devastating, and by devastating I mean devastating for you since it will mean your vote caused the death of your children."
One of them was bound to say something stupid about the hurricane and here it is.

You're kidding me. How is he planning to connect the two events?!
Of course, I have to admit, the grammar is so abysmal that I can barely understand what he's saying in that quote.
And since Texas JUST GOT HIT BY IVAN, I will now never, ever make a sarcastic comment about where hurricanes/tropical storms should hit ever again. I evidently will be made to eat my words.
