Hi everyone,
Please help this Christmas birthday girl find a track listing of an old compilation (Time Life, perhaps?) that my parents had on tape when I was a little girl (so probably in the late 70s, maybe early 80s). There were two tapes, and I remember a few of the tracks that I have not ever seen in any other compilation, so these might help distinguish it from other old collections:
Blue Christmas - Wayne Newton Christmas Eve in My Hometown - Bobby Vinton Christmas Bells - Patti Page
It also has lots of the "classic" versions, which I haven't listed here, because they show up on lots of different compilations and would not be distinguishing. I've never seen the three songs above on any other compilation. It also had this hillbilly style duet of "Jingle Bells" where these old country singers had given it quite an overhaul. There was also a version of Little Drummer Boy that was very slow, and sung by a choir, all in a pretty high pitch.
I would LOVE it if someone has the answer to this! It's definitely not any of the Time Life collections listed here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Time%E2%80%93Life_Treasury_of_Christmas For one thing, they are too new, and for another thing, I can tell by the track listing that they are different.
Thank you! --Nicole
