Hi everyone....maybe you know this. This is probably old news for all you Yule Log fans but there is a "Winter Fun Pack" at Microsoft's web site that works with the Windows Media Player and includes a fireplace in its visulazations options. It isn't exactly the Yule Log but it isn't bad! http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/wm_winterfun.mspx Bad news is that you have to be using Windows XP and have Windows media player 9!

I agree...the image of the Yule log on a computer screen is always somewhat blurry. It lacks the clarity that the TV version has. If some of you have not video taped the log by now, I suggest you all get busy and do it before it's too late. The yule log was on a long vacation and luckily was finally relit. The next time around, she may not come back at all.

How true, how true Richiedoo! Maybe, someday, before they extinguish the flame, they'll restore the 24 missing songs from the classic program that began airing in 1973. Joe's been pushing hard for it. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
