Hello all,I have decided to buy my family a new artificial christmas tree this year, and want your recommendations on where to buy the best one. My limit is just about $100. I would like a 6 to 7' pre-lit muti-color light tree. All of target's trees are crap.(pardon my christmas french) and going all the way out to Long Island to Harrows is out of the question. Can anyone recommend some place around the Union township area? Is Branche Brooke Still around? Any independent christmas stores?Help an elf out here....

Of the two remaining Christmas stores left in the area (Branch Brook and Fountains of Wayne), the clear winner is Fountains of Wayne.

I discussed this in my July 31st edition of "Chip's Tips" (paragraph 2)...

I bought my tree (10' pre-lit) in January from frontgate.com for $99 (shipping included). These specials are hit or miss..so you might want to check it out.

If you're close to NY/NJ Metro area I would invest the time to check out the CHRISTMAS OUTLET at 90 Myrtle in Cranford, NJ They make some of the best artificial trees in the business which get sold under various names by outside companies.
