While it was not Thee WPIX Yule Log, I saw these videos on You Tube and thought I'd share them. These are two clips (of quite a few in fact) of The Fleshtones (from Brooklyn/NY). The clips are from their Xmas show on the 20th, I think it was, which was also celebrating the release of their Xmas album, STOCKING STUFFER. In the background during the show, a Yule Log was projected and I thought fans here might get a kick out of this (if not the music, too).

First clip is SUPER ROCK SANTA, from The Fleshtones' album, STOCKING STUFFER:

Second is FEELS GOOD TO FEEL, from their last non-Xmas album, TAKE A GOOD LOOK:

The Fleshtones are one of my top fave bands, along with The Cramps and The A-Bones (among many, many others). They've been playing their own brand of garage rock since the mid-70s, calling it "Super Rock". They're also one of the few bands from the original days of CBGB that has never taken a year off (and they're still alive, with only one casualty along the way, Gordon Spaeth, sax player, RIP).

Dig 'em!
