Damn it !!!! I'm apparently I'[m losing my touch.... killing this sick thread has become far harder than I thought it would be.
Clearly there are too many others who fancy themselves to be deft threadkillers as well.
So..... here is a new thread I might start.

You guys are missing something here. Killing a thread is one things, starting a thread that slowly dribbles off the edge of the main page without getting any responses is far more humiliating. I start to feel nervous by about the two hour mark or when it reaches midway down the main page.
Inevitably, though, someone will step in with a Pity Post to salve my ego. If I'm lucky, the P.P. will even be so interesting as to spark a bunch of follow-ups and the thing will be off and running.

Hey, I'm back from NYE vacation (just another random thread killing statement of truth)
This vacation went to St. George, Palm Springs, San Diego, Orange County, Riverside and then got stuck in some serious snow last night in Mammoth Lakes on the back side(east) of the Sierra Nevada range on our way back home to Northern Nevada (just another boring, thread killing travelogue, almost like a fast and testimony meeting)
The rest of you totally SUCK at this! ( a totally rude, obnoxious statement and most likely feeble attempt to run everyone else off)

My apologies Nanna! I loved your DH story, I commented on it. And your granddaughter! I loved the pictures of your daughter and herfamily.
Bard, I used to love LOVE Depeche Mode, lol. We have a guy at work who is chronically stuck in the 80's (he knows all of the bands personally - Duran Duran who will be in SLC in March, Flock of Seagulls, etc). He plays 80's music all day long.
