Those that leave Revival, seem to remain under the umbrella of Revivalist thinking and ignorance.
My friend left Noel Hollins ministry some eight years ago, doesn't go to a church but "follows the Lord" by listening
to radio preachers.
The subject of 'The Sons of God', Genesis 6:2, came to light and he believes, according to Noel Hollins, they were
the pre-Adamic race of people, because God made them out of 'nothing' (his word) and not the 'dust' of the earth.
The word 'create' in ch 1 and 'formed', ch 2, are different words and have different meanings.

From what I have read, the phrase "sons of God" here has mainly been interpreted to (1)refer either to angels or to
human beings, (2)to godly men, possibly from the line of 'Seth', son of Adam ch 5 and (3)to royal figures, kings who
were closely associated with gods in the ancient near east.

There has been much writing on this subject and it is unclear which is right, but one thing is clear, it is not
Noel Hollin's interpretation. (notwithstanding their whole world view of Genesis 1-2 is questionable.)

I believe in Christianity as I believe the sun has risen; not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else. C.S.Lewis.
