I'm sure they do still have outreaches at times in Scotland.  I'm very often in the town centres of Stirling, Glasgow and Edinburgh,  however have not seen any one having an outreach or even leafleting for many years.

Does the CAI still collect a 'Lester Sumrall' offering?

A monthly offering?

A monthly Tithe?

Periodical 'small' offerings?

Periodical 'medium sized' offerings?

Periodical/couple of times a year, 'large offerings'?

A 'mailbox' charge? (I'm guessing some other income stream was dreamed up to replace that with the advent of the internet)

Do they still hand out money grabbing fines for breeches of CAI protocol?

Basically, are they still squeezing every last penny out of everyone and spending it on bling for 'Uncles Scotty and Michy'?

The reason why Scott enjoyed cruises at the expensive side of the market, is because he likes to see himself as one of the world's wealthy and rub shoulders with the rich of this world.  He liked to dress down for these trips so that he would not appear to be the type of 'new money' that his aspirational identity would frown upon.

Scott may be getting a taste of his own medicine these days with over priced money grabbing lawyers!?

I am sure he does not mind the lawyers fees at all - his willing flock is paying the expenses.

Oh, and for the other questions: yes, yes, yes - certainly. Not long ago "pastor" l.arse visited "the assemblies2 in Europe - all expenses (and gee, an overseer has to get treated well, after all the work he does for the sheep!) were certainly paid by them - now their petty cashes are blank.

Larse, you lying swine - save the date; for when I get you  my treatment will be gratis.

Lester Summeral is (or was) now called the Charity Support Offering. They had to change is as I guess someone called them out on the fact that hardly any of it actually went to Lester and his charity.

Most of it lines the pockets of the CAI coffers- not really charity at all.

 Hi,

I saw the Perth group singing in the streets of Perth and handing out leaflets just a couple of weeks ago. I've also seen them on Wednesdays handing out leaflets. They blank me in the streets though. That's a nice Christian attitude!

What do you mean exactly by "blank me"?  Did you use to be part of that group, and they act like they don't know you?  Do you mean the RF group?  I heard they had some things on at Fremantle.

I would think that that's exactly what Guest above meant, dogmafree.

Happens to us here too. People who professed to be our friends will look the other way if you greet them and say nothing ... that is if they didn't happen to see you on time and therefore haven't managed to demonstratively cross over to the other side of the road.
