You know Don that Ralph is not the old man. He is just an old racer, that can quite cut it anymore. We know he doesn't have the finesse to run truck anymore. Those crippled up old hands of his can only pull the throttle all away on or all the way off. That's good enough for 1/8th scale. But that kind of driving won't cut it in 1/10th truck. Now that should get him going, coming from me.

Don you know if you're over 20 years old in this sport . you're over the hill. most of the top guys are really young kids . You guys in your thirties and forties just can't let go . So where does that put me. Going on 66 years old and still trying to play like a kid. That is why I keep thinking about given this up. It's getting just too hard to keep up. And turned marshaling is the pits. You keep telling me that three cars is too much well I have cut it down to two. And I am seriously thinking the cutting it to zero. It is hard to tell yourself that it's time to quit.

You are right but I'm just not having fun anymore. I can get on the track , and I run around but it doesn't feel like I am racing anybody it feels like I'm just going around in circles waiting to break something. So I can have something to get all passed off about. I don't call that fun. I really think it's just a money thing. You really can have fun when you don't have money to throw at this race and stuff. I've been thinking about Charlotte and how much it cost to go there. it's not like when we used to go down to Ocala had a big crowd , and we knew everybody. that was fun. Its not fun when you have to beg someone to go with you.

Bob at the risk of pissing you off stop crying. I have been doing this for about 5 years now and just started to be competitive, and still get my ass handed to me at anything greater than a club race. But during all the bad times I still had a good time because winning didn't make it fun, although it is fun to win, all the comaraderie between me and my buddies was what made it fun for me. Now to your begging people to go with you part, most of us have been traveling together to races for years, and what you are begging for is one or two of us to break away from our group to go with you, that's alot to ask for. Just get your ass to the track and hang with us and have a good time, win or lose. And if you cut back one more class and just run one (1) class, you will have less woories, spend less money and will have alot more fun hanging with the guys...I am starting to feel like your shrink now....lol

"sugar daddy" oh damn them there are fightin words LoL only thing is Ralf CB probably makes more in a week then you do all month.
The only way I would flip out the funds to get a gas truck is if they start racing it more at harrys, as for racing for trucks, I would be game but Ralf buddy you need to get a new truck first, I damn sure dont want that 5 year old piece of shit you call a GT......

Dam Jeff, I thought you would like the sugar daddy thing...lol I will have to stand in line for the fighten, by the time I get there ...well, there won't be much left to fight.
Its they same truck that has worn your ass out too many times to count, I believe thats why you quit racing gas truck.....and 1/8.
I have no fear of losing anything CB, but I'm really not in the market for a snapper truck, never figured you for a losi.

Dont worry Ralf there is plenty of me to go around, so get in line I am up for the challange..... As for you getting me to quit racing gas truck, dont flatter your self, I will give you the 1/8 scale victory, hell if I cant beat you "the club race king" then I just plan suck.
