While researching and trying to find other anonymous operators looking to organize a union I came upon a recording on Bigboys.com or bigboy.com of a relay operator doing a sex related msg on a machine. This is ridiculous!Apricot
I had no idea they were doing this. EGADS! My voice could be out there somewhere being used. I have an idea... next time I get a call like this im going to use a senior citizens voice..heeheeehee
That is my 1 fear, is that someday, I'll look and find my voice and code on one of these recordings. Thats why I never use appropriate TOV during prank calls and messages.

I just refuse to do these calls. That's not what I was hired for and I will not be used as entertainment for these assholes. Since we only get these calls thru internet relay I can hang up on them without the fear of being monitored. I just have to make sure that nobody's prying eyes are looking into my cube or walking by.

Did I read someone post that sprint gets 1.30 a minute for internet relay calls? Well I hate to say it but if they raise my pay to what I think is fair in the market right now for the type of work I'm doing I would happily do those calls.
But something must be done about the Nigerian calls. I mean it is one thing to help an American get their happy on but it is another one entirely to facillitate terrorism.

Sprint gets about 1.40 per minute for internet calls. And they would have to pay me a hell of a lot of money to process sex calls. If I wanted to do that type of work I'd go work in that industry.

Exactly, and by the way, just a heads up for mci at least--I keep hearing sups etc saying (and doing) things that relate directly to this site---so paranoia pays at this time friends!!!!!
