He loves pretty much any toy, he so is not picky when it comes to his toys LOL I tryed this one toy that was supposely made of nondestructive material...hahahahaha it lasted 2 days. He loves rope toys but he shreds them so easily. Squeeky toys seem to be his favorite wich is odd cause he cant hear them?? But I am at a lost on what are good toys....help!!! lol

Cleo is also known for destruction, so I know what you're going through!

Things she likes that have lasted:

Nylabone Galileo bone:  Great for chewers, only small rice-sized pieces flake off, so no real risk of ingestion

Tuffy toys:  double stitched fabric, so harder (not impossible) to get through.  She does require supervision w/these, but can't destroy them in minutes like others.

Kongs:  She likes the regular ones, filled w/yogurt/bananas (frozen)

I bought them Kong Wubba's about 2-3 weeks ago.  Again, she's only allowed this supervised, but actually likes to chase it (she's not a big fetcher) and has not shown interest in completely ripping it!

Cuz balls:  She likes those a lot, but needs supervision.  She'll try to chew the feet right off.

Hope that helps!

Maybe he can feel the vibration from the sqeakie toys.  Modoc loves stuffies so the Salvation Army or a Thrift store is a good place for cheap stuffies that only last a few days, lol.  Modoc usually de-sqeaks his toys in no time but he loves them.  I did find these small stuffies that make really rude noises, lol, but they have lasted almost 5 months with the sqeaker intact.  He has them hidden as soon as I find one I'll post the brand,

Multipet international.  They are totally dog safe.  Totally stitched with no fake eyeballs.  They are great.
Small but he loves it,

Definatly Galileo bones! Normaly I'm not a huge fan of nylabones (other than the healthy edables which are made to be ingested) cuz Barrett just breaks off chunks of them, but he's had a Galileo bone since he was about 6 months old and he has hardly made a dent in it! There's some teeth marks on it but thats it so far! He goes through phases with it where he'll chew on it every day for like a month and then go a month or two without paying much attention to it, but it has held up really well! The Cuz balls are good (really anything made out of rubber from the company that makes them is good!) but Barrett's never cared much for his. Just be careful with the Bad Cuz's horns. Those puppy teeth will nibble them right off! We also are big fans of the Kong Wubba! Barrett has had 2 snugga wubbas and with the exception of the first one getting all its "legs" ripped off (which still took him atleast 6 months!) both have held up really well. Jolly balls are also great, although if you get the one with the rope through the middle, he might shred it. Although Barrett used to try to shred ropes as a puppy too and he left his alone. I think the big giant ball in the middle of it detured him from trying! But even after the rope is gone, its still a great ball! I'm wondering if he doesn't just like the feel of the squeeker in his mouth? Petsmart has half an aisle of rubber squeeker toys and half an aisle of stuffie squeeker toys. Barrett still has a rubber "chocolate covered donut" that my mom got him as a welcome home present! OH! That reminds me of another one! Petsmart also has various sized thick rubber tires that are GREAT for puppy chewing! Some have ropes on them, some don't. They come in all different colors and sizes and all the "tire info" is translated to doggie info. Like the psi (pounds per sq inch) is listed at bites per sq inch, and the mileage is listed as chew time. They're cute! Barrett's all time favorite toy though has always been an old beach towel rolled up with a knot on each end! Good luck, and i hope you find your busy boy some toys to last a while! :)

I hit the Goodwill for stuffies that cost 50cents to $1.00 a piece. If they get destroyed, who cares. Some toys last forever in our house, others are destuffed. Our Cuz ball is out in the backyard and gets touched for about 30 seconds every few months. Kongs are silly things that don't do anything. my boys like their stuffies best.

I second the Goodwill for the huge cheap stuffies- we get old blankets and towels for paws there too. You are right- you could spend hundreds at a pet shop or bring home a cardboard box and let them go to town.  They get a sense of accomplishment with the total destruction-lol.  Cheers.  Mel.

I received a few good toys over the holidays.  They are from a company called   mydogtoy.com  (actually stitched onto the toy) and they are tough and Ida loves them.  She has the ultimate Tug-o-war and a Frisbee style toy and they are double stitched and edged and still fuzzy and fun to play with.  Well worth a few extra $$.
