Hello, I've just bought a Dodge 50 horse box from ebay drove it 300 miles home, no problems at all, really pleased with it, but, it needs quite a lot of cosmetic work, so I'll be picking brains on here for that.

For starters the seats are all very tatty and there are no seat belts on the passenger side, I could do with 2, 3 point belts as I have children that use car seats.

Also the dashboard has seen better days, not the bit with all the dials on, the bit that this sits on.

Any ideas?

Hello Swingboatwayne.
My Dodge is

I would like / need a dashboard

Seats, drivers and passengers, pref matching

I think a new bonnet wouldn't go a miss
And a new drivers door

Apart from that, he's great, I got him via ebay bought unseen, went down by train to collect him and drove the 300 miles home.

I forgot to say, I'm in Cumbria, 1 mile short of Scotland. But at the end of this month I'm coming down to Wales, not sure which part yet

 Hi there and
That dodge 50 was made in the first year of production'
ok seats, you might find some better ones and they are not that hard to replace or to recover even, but the dash board is harder to replace, I would recover the dash with vinal and stick it down with glue, or fluffy ink material (a friends dodge is like that) as replacing the dash is a bit of a job from what I have been told, I have never tried to remove one....yet.

Your bonnet is better than most by the looks of it, a bit of rubbing down, a little filler and red oxide paint and then some white would sort it out a bit.

the same with the doors, unless you can get some that are in better condition than yours.

if you do replace the bonnet...KEEP the letters from ya old one.

Oh and welcome to the world of the dodge 50.

Hello Karrier, I pulled the vinyl off the dash board as it looked awful, I'll get some more.

Forgot to say, I also want the inside door trims for here, both doors

Most 50 series didn't come with door trims, only those that were ordered with them, again it is easier to make them up in vinal but don't cover up the bottom of the door, that a5 size thing stuck to your door in the above picture has a lot of infomation about what is fitted to your vehicle, if you can get a decent pic of that i can give you info on your vehicle,
