The Clapham community should be informed of this site ---is it possible to have a little write up in some local Clapham papers -- perhaps the papers could be contacted for an article so Clapphammers are more aware of what's going on....sorry but I now live in Canada, and hence cannot assist here.

I am sure if more people new about this site then it would be a huge success for all and would attract advertisers etc. But having just moved to the area and spent ages trying to find local info this site I found by mistake.
Anyway have any decisions been made - can someone please update us?

Dear all, sorry not to have said anything in the last week but a friend of mine has been very ill in Ireland and sadly died yesterday. Not after sympathy as you lovely peeps didn't know her but just saying I am going to be very busy as I am giving eulogy, am godfather to two kids etc.
In a day or two or four I shall be putting up a note asking for suppoirt keeping this plsace going with details of jobs etc.
In the meantime PLEASE keep posting any old chatter and I will try and get rid of these bloody pop up ads over the weekend!

I think Steve can use some brave, dedicated volunteers chipping in some time and effort. Quite a few of us have collectively contributed reviews etc for the site in he past and they turned out quite good. But more could be done. Looking at those grossly commercial, standardised sites like MyClapham and the like, they lack in both personality and integrity.
