Hello All

A new joint called The Loft is opening on the 9th-10th november on the high stree above tesco local/Evans bike shop and Yes! right below the overpriced new apartments. I spoke with the owner randomly yesterday and friday is the private invite night and saturday is official opening. American cocktail bar food etc... i am sure they will go for DJ's too.... similiar to White House. The company owns Plan B in brixton and a few others. I have a couple of mates who live above the venue who are worried about potential noise etc... wait out and see!! more info shortly......
It does look huge...

How are your friends finding life upstairs from the Loft? I had dinner and some drinks there tonight and it was great  - seemed fairly quiet although I guess it must get louder on Fridays and Saturdays...

I have been to the loft on a saturday afternoon and it was great, quiet but great food.

went on sunday with a group of 16 for sunday lunch.absolutely great. very good quality food and wine
and at a very reasonable price. something which cannot be said for many restaurans nowadays.
