$%*'`[jazzy J]%*'`@I just noticed that it looks like a Subway will be going in on the high street. I have to say I'm looking forward to it. I also see that the Sea Cow is closed for renovation. Wonder what they'll change?

$%*'`[calypso]%*'`@Has any of you gone to the Sea Cow? Is it good? You can't see anything from outside, it looks so dark inside. It put me off.

Sea Cow is fantastic!  Excellent Fish'n'Chips - also wet-bar to choose your own fish for them to cook or to take home to cook yourself...

It's having a makeover alledgedly...

I agree, the chips are always, hard, not very hot and undercooked.  The best chips by far are at Bennys in the old town, unfortunately since moving last year too far away for me now.

Really?  We've never had hard or undercooked chips from Seacow.

Did you let them know?  It's alway worth letting any business know where they are failing so at least they can do something about it.  If they wish to ignore your suggestions that's up to them but I know most business would welcome it.

Subway will be a much healthier option than KFC if it stays open until 3am (When staggering up the High St).

Yes, the chips in Sea Cow are awful! They were fab when the place fist opened though and the fish is the best although never eat in, the service is as bad as the chips.
