$%*'`[Gazza]%*'`@Did anyone read the article on Clapham North's burgeoning drug dealing scene in last nights Evening Standard?Having lived in the Landor Rd end of the High Street for the last 12 monthsI can't say I'm all that sorry to have to say goodbye to the dealers and the fools who buy bags of Tarragon and Parsely on my old doorstep (literally on several times). If the idiots that seem intent on getting ripped off by the locals weren't stupid enough to travel down Landor RdthenI don't see how there would be a problem. Also, since the GL Cafe closed and the police stepped up their presence in Brixton all it seems to have done is make the problem worse (in Clapham North anyway).I think most of the 'Street Sales Reps' there are reasonably harmless if you let them know you live there and not potentialmuppets to rip-off, but couldn't help but feel sympathy for the poor bloke with a wife and 12 year old kid (in the ES)who has to deal with this shit on a regular basis.Lesson learnt - don't try and bring kid's up in Clapham North. Now that my household has moved to Clapham South (which is like living in a different city by comparison) its easier to get a bit of perspective on theissue and realise that its not normal to get offered budget drugsseveral times a day everytime you travel to the station or want to pop out for a quick pint of Stella. This is probably old ground but I feel better for getting it off my chest...Gazza (now of Clap South)
