Hi. Have been trying to find some interesting new places to eat in the Clapham area.Have come across Nancy Lam's Enak, which seems to get good reviewshttp://trustedplaces.com/review/uk/london/restaurant/1q02y8t/nancy-lam-s-enak-enakHas anyone tried it? Or where else do you recommend? Thanks
Nancy Lamb's is in Battersea not Clapham. I've only been once and it was OK, nothing special.
In Clapham we have loads of amazing eatieres. Top eatery for gastronomy and price is Trinity in the old town. It's AMAZING. Also Four-O-Nine, above the Clapham North pub is very good and Upstairs on Acre Lane (more Brixton than Clapham, I suppose) - is outstanding.

(In the same league used to be Morel, now sadly closed - their lease came to an end.)
There are many good tapas places, Carmen outside Clapham Common tube, La Rueda (currently being refurbed), the one on Clapham Manor Street (forgotten name now!) and there is a new-ish one on Bedford Road.
Golden Curry is probably the best curry house.
Good fish'n'chips at Fish Club in middle of High Street.
Eco, Verso, Alba & San Macro are all good pizza'n'pasta places
Pepper Tree is a great Thai place - very good value and great good.
The Stonhouse and The Grey Goose are both good gastro-pubs
Next to Eco, Esca is a superb deli and for cakes Macaron in the old town does amazing pastries.
I am sure there are loads of others I have forgotten but these the ones I go to regularly.
