HiHave any of you ever come across a dyno graph for the Xl 600?Just curious to see where the peak torque occurs.I have a nice 1984 xl with a dynojet kit ans a supertrap muffler . I also have a 2008 KLR and without question the XL has gobs more torque and could easily out accelerate and spita lot of dirt at the new KLR.

I don't have a dyno chart but the manual says 43 BHP at 6000 rpm and 5 kg-m torque at 5000 rpm. Does anyone know what 5 kg-m is in lb-ft? I'm not any good at conversion factors unless I have a chart in front of me, which I don't. Bruce

Meter => 3.28 ft
5kg => 11 lbs

11 lbs @ 3.28 ft => 36.1 lbs @ ft or is it ft/lbs?

Yupe the XL600's were strong runners. personally I think much stronger than the XR650L. Now see what you did I want one again! :-)
