Has the Mayor lost all control

A speculative poll as to whether power will be stolen by the most verbious member of the business boys.

the Mayor is cappy's puppet
the Mayor will show cappy who is boss

Sorry, but Cappy has been there longer than Fracasso, so of course he's running things, and telling Kenny this is how we do it, "watch and learn"..I am hoping that Fracasso won't ever get as over egotisticle as Cappy though, but is watching and learning his own lesson on how not to behave in public.

The spilled milk thing is getting old..not spilled milk..not enough voters..if they had bought more voters..these guys would have no money left to buy people along the way..they paid for only16%..this could have gotten expensive..good thing their signs were nice..Thank You TONY, we'll do everthing we can to get this thing "moving foward"..sounds like a bowel movement to me..grease it up ..it'll slide right through..

We have a geat thing going in Winsted????  That is hilarious!!! I needed a good laugh.  Our BOS are the laughing stock of the state.    A school building committee headed up by Jay Case that is in violation of the procedure of how they are dealing wth the OCR compliance complaint. This town is going to be screwed. We are going to be fined like crazy, and on top of that lose state grants assigned for the OCR complaince items.  Go ask for the letter that Blaise just recieved regarding the Pearson school.   The newly formed school building committee is obviously uninformed on how to handle this situation. I wish we could get this situation under control. State policy states you have to upgrade the entire facility( all of the violations) under their grant program. Failure to do so would  would void the subsidy.    We lose the grant people. Once again it will fall on the taxpayer.  People should stop trying to pretend they are important and deal with the issues. ADA and OCR are complex issues, and the state isn't fooling around.  Get people to deal with this issue that know what they are doing!!!!!!!!!!! You can't be a novice.

...well, to start with take over by cheating, then throw all the work out that has been done to appease the OCR complaint...now what do you have?...a bunch of egtostical false leaders without a plan or a clue as to how to put one together...

...those involved with the bond and process realized the importance of timing and now these new business men have gotten out of the two year cycle for state funding and will not be able to get back in step...they deserve what they get for an end result however it will be the taxpayer who will bear the brunt of the pain and costs...

Thank you both for those kind words.  I saw Ken there as well, in the face of just having lost his Mom.  I heard several coments about his callousness at being at a socal event the same day he buried his Mom, and I thought that was totally unfair and rude.  Everyone deals with loss in different ways.  Leave the guy alone.

I predict that the Fabulous Five will have an implosion in the near future if it hasn't already started.  We don't really hear much these days from Jeff and Gene - maybe they are unnerved a bit by Cappy's arrogance and discontent.  Maybe they were taken aback by his gusto to turn Winsted into Cappyville.  Maybe they've realized that the running mate who took on the least amount of votes isn't the great businessman he professes to be.  I love the fact that the word is getting out on his failure to abide by certain laws and regulations.  Too good to do as the rest of us have had to do, huh?  Ken has done a fine job so far of being present at so many functions, Chamber of Commerce events included.  Maybe he's heard the town mumblings that he's the Mayor in name only and that Cappy's in charge of the marionette strings.  I'm learning not to underestimate Ken.
