OK - with what's been going on in town I can see where someone would want to question Mark Douglas and the time he takes to coach. Right now anyone and everyone is subject to questioning. A previous poster sounds to be reasonable in saying that Mark has been coaching through the tenure of 4 Town Managers, and nothing until now has been said. Mark's name came up because someone BROUGHT it up in a post regarding Mrs. Fracasso's business. I don't know if everything is above board or not - looks as though it's been brought up here it may as well be looked into. That is just an honest reaction on my part to the issue.
Snuggle up with Liskin? Cappy will have to be there too to tell him what to say. As I rewatched that fiasco of a town meeting this morning, one could only wonder how those Republicans were elected. Is Liskin really that DUMB or was he just Tongue-tied? Cappy is constantly having to help him thru his statements. As for the Mayor, how unprofessional he appeard conducting a meeting chewing on a wad of gum. What a disgrace to the Town of Winchester.

Well, Mark isn't the only town employee to take "short days" at the expense of the taxpayer. Take a look around, make a few calls. See who's never in thier office. The rest of us all ready know.

Not saying he isn't a decent guy. The point being, the mayor's wife was awarded this job. Did it even go out to bid??? That seems to be information that isn't available.
If you go down and ask the purchasing director --- Yes it did go out to bid and LaBelle Construction won the bid and is doing the job...The bid documents are NO secret and it was a sealed bid!!!!
From the time of the award, it is up to the contractor to who was awarded to get the job done with what ever subs he wants, it is then out of the towns hands at that point. If I am not mistaken this was bid in 2006.
So all this rantin' and raven' over somethin' that happened before the Mayor even thought of running! What a bunch of .......s you guys are! Next time try somthin' new - get the facts before you make the charges!
