I live in the interior of alaska where bear are common. I know several people that use bear meat as a food source. However none of them claim it to be their first choice as a table staple. I had bear stew some years back that was ok. The meat had been cut into small cubes, marinated in some commercial marinating liquid then browned and added to the stew. It was actually not bad. I suggest looking for wild game recipes online and trying them. Cooking is not one one my better qualities.. I eat to stay alive, not because I am a culinary wizard// Good Luck.. Tony C
