I bought a bunch of stuff, including branded thongs from a website called aliexpress.com a little while ago. I think its a subsidiary of the alibaba group, which are all massive websites from china that sell a lot of different things wholesale.

They don't have a really wide range of brands and styles, and a lot of the good brands don't seem labeled on the site so sometimes you have to almost trust the pictures. I think this is probably due to the english barrier and them not being able to read & understand the english.

The site offers ridiculously cheap thongs and clothing in general. Occasionally, some stuff is only sold in bulk. so you have to order 10 or 20. but most of the time you can just buy 1. prices seem to vary from 1/10 to maybe 1/2 the price that i've seen the same stuff on other websites. so really really cheap in comparison.

Has anyone bought some from one of these sites?

In fact, Chinese made products (referring to thongs/g-strings) already flooded the market.

Ladies lingerie (95% made from China) can be found anywhere! The Chinese are good at copying, and they copied exactly the same as Victoria's Secret, Andrew Christian, Joe Snyder, N2N, TM, Toot, Muscleskins & etc. You name it, they have it. Of course, these are fake, dirt cheap replicas but under different brand name.

Alibaba.com is one of the big online business organisations in China. Not only Alibaba.com, www.taobao.com (oops...in Chinese only) is most popular! The revenue generated is much lucrative than eBay.com!

I have two pairs of fake Aussie Wicked Weasel brand bikinis (http://wickedweasel.com) bought from China. You will not believe how much I bought it.

Let's forget about eBay.com for the time being! It is not cheap to buy items from eBay (inclusive of expensive postage)!

Lots of Chinese undies on e-bay. If you link through to the supplier, they'll often do a deal direct if you order a reasonable quantity. Quality is ok, it's the sizing and fit that can be a bit off.

Chinese g-strings and thongs on E-Bay
(Date Posted:03/15/2013 13:18)

I've noticed quite a few sellers from China and aside from their stuff being sized a bit small, wonder if anyone has had any good luck with them? The prices seem too low and although I appreciate a bargain, I want the garment to last awhile!Pete

i've bought a few, yes a bit small but quality seems good. I have found some sellers on e-bay have poor feedback scores due to complications with shipping or other issues.

My feedback is the same as the other posters. Quality is good for the price. So far I haven't had any pairs disintegrate after repeated use/washing. A bit on the small side. Also, the sellers tend to ship a size up from your order. This is to compensate for their size charts. So far I had one issue with a seller which was quickly solved.
With more brands discontinuing their thong styles I find myself becoming more dependent on these guys for buying underwear. Is this happening to you?
Cheers.

I got some decent stuff but found pretty universally that it's all at least a full size small. I am not a big guy either - 33 waist, 36 hips. Normal package.

i've stopped buying from cheaper places. I found i got a few knock offs and the quality was appauling in them. Even for those that aren't knock offs, i'll still stick to paying more now. Its not really worth it to me.

I have bought from China and most of their stuff has worked out great.  I would agree that their sizes run a little small but with that knowledge I just order a little bigger.  Some of the stuff that have ordered has a funny fit so I do not like them very much but it is so inexpensive that I do not even bother trying to return them.

With stuff from China, always size up, a LOT.  Go up at least two sizes or more. Some people who are Small to Medium find a Chinese XL the best fit.

Amusing story that we can probably relate too:

The problem here is US stuff is very inaccurate. And due to stretch you could be wearing a lot smaller underwear than true sizing and what less stretch would allow. If dealing with pants, you simply have to size up for the length in China, but for underwear, it should not be a huge difference. In the US I often have to size down for the right fit, that's the problem. Hopefully you get some sizing data in cm, and you can work with that.

Yes, this is true. Although these days I'm buying mostly European brands every now and then I come across a design I really like on eBay. With the Chinese brands, size up a lot, with US brands, size down a bit.

Having purchased a lot of thongs from aliexpress I claim pretty much the same as others.
The knock off stuff is crap, joe snyder knock off was sized way too big.The aussiebum swim trunks on the other hand  are great, I don't know if it's real or not but the tags look and feel legit plus the fit and look was perfect.I also got a lot of TM thongs from aliexpress I love them (have pic in my Flickr account) For reference I measure out to be a 30 but I normally wear a 32 for pants (like it lower on the waist plus comfort), I had to order the TMs in XL, L was a bit too tight.

had some good luck with a Chinese supplier
(Date Posted:12/27/2014 13:31)

I have bought thongs twice now from:http://www.ebay.com/usr/2009shoppingmalland had good luck. This was after a series of disappointments due to undersized or just plain shoddy goods. The stuff I bought was under the "Paul Jones" label. They are selling a clone of the thong I like from SkinXwear. It's either net, or transparent elastane. The elastane is pretty fragile, but very light, stretchy and comfortable. The mesh only barely less comfortable, but more durable. The descriptions are terrible. Whoever is putting them up does not know English. And the shipping charges are all over the place. I paid $1.20 for one item with free shipping, and I think I'm seeing it again for $3 with $4 shipping! All you can do is save them to your wish list and then review them carefully to avoid paying more for the identical item.Anyhow, the prices are so cheap I'm having fun getting some pretty decent stuff. There are also some garments with what appear to be sleeves for the penis that I don't imagine would be very comfortable.Anyhow, I thought I'd share this. I was concerned at first that this seller was a scammer, but they have a long positive track record with eBay. I got what I paid for very quickly and it was better than I expected.Pete

Those paul jones mesh g-strings are my favorite (my avatar), I actually stopped buying joe snyder g-strings because of those, but I thought they stopped selling them few months ago. I agree about the prices/shipping, for some reason they always change the price, it could be 2.99 today and tomorrow it can be 1.55 something. They are pretty comfortable for pretty much every activity (running, biking, even taekwondo). They are pretty fragile but I usually hang them to dry after taken out from the washer so it will last longer. And hopefully they start selling those again.

new thong just arrived from China . . .
(Date Posted:12/02/2015 16:32)

http://www.ebay.com/itm/161399453623

I bought this in white, XL. I am 34-36 in the hips, normally hung, and this fits well. Not too tight at all. I thought the price was just too cheap to resist and was right. About a third of the underwear or thongs are just too small, but this company has the proportions right. It ought to be perfect when it gets wet!

I just received a 5-pack of these after ordering them a couple of weeks ago. I tend to notice many American thong-wearers have an opposite bitch to me about not having enough room with what they buy. My junk is snack-sized, so I have better luck with fitting into overseas undergarments. These had a sexy and comfortable fit. I found them many pages deep at amazon.com
The only USA thong maker that fit me amazingly perfect was suits you swimwear, which discontinued their men's line a decade ago and has no intention of bringing it back (I asked).

Re:www.52cavemen.com from China

I recently bought a couple of suits from their Ali-Express shop, both teardrops with a horseshoe ring where the pouch meets the waistband:
https://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/The-waist-Small-steel-ring-1433-sexy-men-lingerie-T-Back-Thong-G-String-T-pants/1357335_1998005133.html?spm=2114.12010608.0.0.yBKvg2
The Ali-Express shop is a lot easier to navigate than their homepage.

These look like the "Silver Ring Bag" the Tangaland used to sell. The pouch is on the small side, but has lots of stretch so it's very accommodating. Fit is nice and sleek. On the down side, the straps are Fold-over Elastic. The ring is rather larger than I would like, at 2 inches/50mm diameter, so I swapped it out for a 1 inch/25mm one.

I received my order in about a week, Hong Kong to Chicago, which is pretty good. Many (most) items come in a very limited range of colors.  As is typical for many Chinese shops, I'm somewhat bemused by the pictures lifted from Tangaland and Dubio, with censoring of the image to the point where  you can't even tell what the item looks like.

For all the over-censoring I can still identify some styles that domestic makers grossly over-price.  I love to go bare-balls, and they have lots of those styles.  I am happy to pay well for USA makers as long as they aren't at ridiculous cost.

When buying from China you have to size up A LOT.
I am a medium in the US, even a small in some brands, but an XL or XXL (2XL) in China sizes.

I was reminded of this when talking business with a young women wearing a thong, and who was tantalizing me by casual brushes of her hands on my chest. I was a little distracted by her eyes and body language, and almost missed the part where she told me that when ordering custom furniture from China they had to be careful to order it "over-size" to fit the standard US body.

When I first ordered from China, I got sizing badly wrong. Now I understand the need to drastically size up when ordering clothing sized in Chinese sizes. However it had not occurred to me that importers had to up-size the specs on seats and other furniture.

RE:Thongs and swimsuits from china
(Date Posted:04/24/2017 17:01)

I want to confirm you have to be careful ordering from China. Last summer I ordered  a Pink and a Yellow swim thong advertised as JS thongs. I ordered 3 sizes larger.

I was very surprised when the package arrived. It was very small and very thin, hardly big enough to hold one suit. Needless to say they were extremely small. The packaging said xxl but they should have said xxs. A 12 yr old boy would have a hard time getting into one of them. I did manage to get them on.
Funny thing the pouch was very strechy and I did manage to get into the pouch. The material was very form fitting and barely covered me. The material was also more of underwear type and while not see thru left very little to imagination.

What to do? I went to the local fabric store and purchased some 1/2 inch black  braided elastic and another white. ( the 1/2 inch elastic matched exactly the 1/2 inch sides) I went home and cut off the thong backs of both suits. I then carefully made a waist band and back strap for each suit. The pink with black elastic- so if i wore to beach you could tell I wasn't completely nude and the yellow suit with white elastic. They now look like they were made that way from factory. I am very happy. They now fit snug up front and are very comfortable to wear.

Look forward to wearing them to lake but not in a crowded area. I know from a shower test - they are very transparent. I wear them as underwear. But if ever near the lake, I can go out a ways and wear them as swimwear.
