We had a surprise last week.  Calista was pregnant with twins we thought.  But the blood test in June that said she wasn't pregnant was false and she gave birth to a huge filly on Wednesday.  She looks to be true black but has some frosting developing on the tips of her hair.

She's a doll!  Good sized too!  It'll be interesting to see if she stays black or turns out to be a dark grulla.  Have you decided on a name yet?

 Thanks!  We sure do like her.  I've given her a baby name of Star until we figure out what her permanent name will be.  She's really friendly, typical Kiger.  This is a Chinny baby and full sister to Chickadee and Rio.  Rio has turned into an amazing stallion and Chick is going to be about 16 hands.
