So it's been a while actually almost a year since I posted on this board, still doing Endurance we just finished the Old Pueblo Ride first weekend in March did a total of 110 miles with Baby , two days of riding 55 miles each day she did good, came in midpack  first day and the second day we came in last but that was my choice, we walked the last loop of the trail  and still had over 3 hours on the clock left when we finished. Beautiful ride, the weather was perfect could have not asked for anything better.

I'm celebrating my 5th year of being cancer free so this ride was a real treat and accomplishment for me, we also made the decision to get out of the breeding business our Stallion Jack Daniels was guilded yesturday and he will be working with me to start his endurance career, hopefully will do his first 50 miler in October, Baby just turn 16 this year is time to start giving her somewhat of a break not going to retire her for a few more years but she will slow down some what and let the younger one  pick up the slack  .

Krysteena still riding with me she is now a junior in high school, 17 years old and working with our vet on a part time basis, she will be graduating next year from high school  and off to collage and vet school, seems like just yesturday she started riding with me .

Anyway that is where we are at I will get some recent pictures of everyone and send them to Bettye to post for me since I never learned how to do that. Happy trails everyone

Vivian, 110 miles sure impresses the heck out of me! Can't  wait for the pics.

Hi Viv,Good to see you're back on the trails !!I've been checking ride results in your region to see if you were riding and was wondering how you were doing.
I love the multi-day rides. Will be doing a 3-day,155 mile ride in May here in the west region, not on Amigo. He 's turned out to be more suited for a show career in dressage .He got toooooo BIG for endurance so will be moving on to a new home and I'll be continuing down the trail on my Arab.Saw the pics of your horses that Betty posted. They look really good.
Happy trails to you!p
