It is now August 16th, and I have been looking in my mailbox every day for the registration paper of Inca Sombra. It hasn't appeared. I know we have been working on it for over two years now, and my check was finally cashed back in July, so I thought the paper would show up any day. Can you check and see if it has gone out, or if it's lost?
Thanks,
Judy

I see on the other board that somebody sent their papers in July 07 and somebody else July 08. Not sure why I got them out about the same time. One thought is maybe where they bought the horse another one maybe I was not being fair or maybe one person is a KMA supporter and maybe __________.
Any way if you have not got them I think all will be done by next week.
Question anybody have a idea how we could register the people with the horse. Maybe do a inspection on both then they could go into a category Horse would be breeding or nonbreeding and the owner as true kiger breeder or none recognized breeder.  To be able to breed or sell horses the horse must come from a true kiger breeder other horses would not be accepted under no reason.  No maybe we could accept horses from the none recognized breeders but then they could never to breed as far as their foals going in. Kind of a tough way but where are we now.

I am confused...I do not know what post you are referring to over on the other board. Everyone there was happy to recieve their SMKR papers regardless of the time it took. There was only one complainer on that post and he was complaining about the time it was taking to recieve his KMA papers, which they explained was because of the inspection and processing DNA.

Now as far as the second part of your question are you refering to registering horses that belong to breeders, to put it bluntly, you don't trust ? Just want to be sure I got it right before I respond, that is if your asking for opinions?

Tiffany your opinion is always welcome. Yes most were happy to get them. As for the last part I and some others have wanted to control the type of people that get involved with the horses. They don't want to stop anybody from getting them just keep certain type of people away from what they do as far as promoting and breeding a true kiger. That is the hard part. That is why KMA and myself stay apart so easy we don't like each other. Some there needs to be a way that a person can be on one side or another but not both. Then the sides can choose who meets the standards of  that side. It is hard to say it in a way that makes sense. Maybe this will help I don't want to own the same kind of horse that say Cook has. So we are trying to come up with a way to keep people and horses apart even if they have the same name. it will work some day I hope.
