Thanks Rick It is good to know you will be there should any trouble develope. Good to know that my horses registered in SMKR are safe and recognized as the true 1/2 Kigers they are. I can continue as well to let buyers know that there horses (they may purchase from me) as well will be safe under the SMKR.

who and what is this allabout, the only regesteration in my book is SMKR, and Rick. How do we go about getting this done so one regestery in the USA, and those out of the USA can be a sister regestery, and all information from them be sent to SMKR for a true and accurate count, and also which are kigers and which are not.

Nola it could happen with maybe KMA SMKR and Jancies registy. If that did then the others would go away or just be for horses and people tthat just dont fit. For examlpe Janice hepled to yesterday and nobody else could with a horse. KMA has a good horse show smkr has 800 reall kigers. So these have some good things that could make one great one.

cool rick,
am glad to hear that then maybe with the two you posted together it could happen. then you and Janice could work together, and be the lead or whatever it is called and then all others will follow if not then I guess they don't want to a member of these two combined regesteries. Janice I have no clue how to put a stop to the other regestries, I would love to see one regestery, and this breed be recognized, People hear the word mustang and they freak. What ever is good for this breed I am on board for. And all I know is I have delt with Rick and he has been honest and straight forward with me.

For anyone who took my question as I did not intend, I have no intention of trying to eliminate any other registries. AKHR, CKMR, KHAR, KMA, and SMKR (Rick's) each is uniquely different and each one has appeal for those who become involved.
Why not take all of the negative energy and discussion of eliminating all of the other registries and redirect it into something positive for the Kiger. Everyone should stop "stirring the pot" and perpetuating the battles.
I also believe that the future will depend on the cooperation and sharing of information by all the registries. Although this has been suggested before, the formation of an alliance with equal representation, providing cooperation is the focus, would be very beneficial to the breed. As a strong group, it could provide information and guidance regarding proper BLM management procedures of the HMAs. This is of serious concern.
The AKHR's website has information on a portion of the Kigers, but there are a lot of "holes" in the database. It is similar to a puzzle where many of the pieces or parts are missing. Please contact the AKHR with information regarding the Kigers that will help fill in the missing parts.

Janice:
Very well put!!!! I agree that a goal of working together for the sake of this breed is a goal that should be paramount. Weather it is an overall blending as some have suggested or a system where we each maintain our individuality while working in the same direction will be established as time goes on. Eitherway, we MUST stop all this underhanded, back stabbing and overall nastiness if this breed is ever going to go forward! JMO.

Maybe one day and I hope soon all this bickering will end, it is the horse we need to protect and promote. as i have said before I have only delt with one person and he has been straight forward and honest with me, He sold me what he said was the perfect horse for me and he was correct. and he never mentioned trouble in the kiger world, he just wanted to be sure i had the horse that was perfect for me. and SMKR for me is the only regestery,, but this is just my opinion on the regesteries.I promote the breed to all I come in contact with here in Mesa AZ.
