Now this is how people should meet our Kigers. Sparking interest  with one person's experience,  not  by obsessing in spite  over an unchangeable past. Focus on the Kigers, their mystique and what they have to offer.  That is enough! It isn't about the politics.  What we think about a thing becomes our reality. Sometimes we have no power to change people, places, things, or events. We can only change our reaction to people, place, things and events, by letting go and changing our thinking, so we  develop new responses and new opportunities in the present to move forward into the future.

Hello everyone,
It's been a long while since I visited the message boards.  The sad news about Sundance is what brought me here today.    I read a few posts and find myself wanting to share some things.

In 2007 Bettye wrote about Randy and I  and our group the  Midwest Mustang & Burro Saddle Club presenting at  Equifest of Kansas.  Just recently I added the video of the performance to our website -  http://tornadoalleykigers.com/Segura.aspx  the video is at the bottom of Segura's page.  The club is all mustangs and we currently have 1 Kiger (Segura) riding and hope to have a couple more in the near future.  Angela will train her new colt in the next couple of years and that little orphan that some of you know as Marvel will be trained in the near future can you believe she's already 3 1/2 years old?  In the video Randy is riding Segura - she's the only dun being ridden and she has  a white blaze.  I am riding my dependable old mustang Snip, he's a bay with black legs and a white blaze - most often we are behind Randy and Segura.  Angela's daughter is riding the palomino.  She's the show off doing tricks on her mustang.  That young lady and her horse are quite the pair!    I hope you all enjoy the video, our group has a blast promoting the mustangs (which  includes Kigers).

If anyone is interested in seeing a snip it of Marvel check out the video on the bottom of her page at http://tornadoalleykigers.com/Marvel.aspx  Marvel traveled for the first time this past weekend  since she was about 2 months old.  We were very proud of her!  She attended a clinic hosted by Lisa Clark a Dennis Reis certified instructor who received all her endorsements while riding mustangs!!!  There's only a little video of Marvel right at the end, she's crossing the teeter-toter bridge "thingy"!
Even though we don't post to the message boards much we are still here doing what we can!

Dear Kristi and Randi:

As I read your post and visited your web site, I found myself still deeply moved by the passing of Eleana. Your little Miracle has grown to become such a beautiful young girl and she is doing both her Momma and Papa very proud!! She has  gotten so big and she looks fabulous in her video. I hope that you will come back and post more about her as her training progresses.

Thanks for sharing,
Kelly

Hi Randy and Kristi,
So good to see you here.  That was great video!  Marvel looks like she's doing so well and is so calm.  What a treasure.

Dianne and Kelly,
Thanks for your replies.  I hope you are both doing well.  Marvel is going to be a great saddle horse and I can hardly wait to ride her.  You know, for an orphan she's really not all that spoiled!  Laughing

Kelly,
I had the opportunity to meet Debi Metcalfe of Stolen Horse International at Equifest this year.  I know you told me a long time ago that she is one of your friends.  What a service  she does to the horse industry.  For those of you who do not know about Debi's mission go to    http://www.netposse.com/  You never know when you might be of assistance to someone!

Dear Randy and Kristi,
thank you so much for the post and for the video's. I cried at the loss of mama. but smiled at her miriacle baby, watching tv and picturing her eating paper, thank you, and at her going over that titter bridge thingy. Thank you for all you do, you are some very special people who love this breed. thank you.
