Hey everyone. I'm pretty new to Gibsons. I just bought a cool Gibson Flying V in Heritage Cherry from eBay.
However, it didn't come with a hardshell case. And I can't seem to find
a Gibson-made hardshell case for it anywhere.
I did go to Musician's Friend, and I found this: http://accessories.mus

Hi, I have a 1984 Gibson Flying V with a tremolo system that I canno Identify. In the Bluebook they state that a Kahler tremolo system is used in that period. This one is quite different. But seems like it is factory installed (it is routed out of the V body). Somebody told me this is a Schaller but

This V was a gift, and it has had some hard times. Original case, twin dirty fingers pups, and a symor duncan at the tail. Pots are funky, need to replace them, and remove the SD. May take it down to the bare wood, and re-finish clear with holos.

I've always favored blunt headstocks from the pointy ones. Recently I got the 67 fever (thanks SteVe for the words) and started for the first time to feel comfortable with the pointy heads. This year I bought my CS cherry and now I'm strangly enough falling in love with my t-burst '67 RI again

I ran across this new one on my lunch break today (Gibson Flying V 1967 REISSUE w/STOPBAR - Classic White). Seem to be a more correct reissue than the standard x-factor. It looks pretty much like the KK Downing signature but in white. Price seem to be right under 4k. It has the over sized pickguard
