Still thinking. The original wiring is long gone. Gibson pots suck, replaced them with CTS 500K soon after getting the guitar, as well as the tuners(still have them). I think I will get a new w/b/w guard with the switch hole left undrilled, move the switch over to the neck volume hole and go with just one master volume and tone pot. I like the simplicity of it, and I think the switch is easier to get to when it's up front. Yesterday I put in a 57 Classic Plus in the bridge, much gooder! I thought about your suggestion of getting a yellowed guard, but I think it would clash with the CAR finish. which has not faded at all, and was not factory aged either.
