Man thats's sweet! That's exactly what I want.. but no money. Some odd things are the bound, block fretboard and that the oversized guard seem to be not rounded like the other custom 67's. But this might be the best looking V I have ever seen.

That´s one really nice guitar, I love it. It seems like the Custom Shop is putting out more and more really great Vs these days.
Gibson should come up with a block inlay series. White, (rev)silverburst, black and special colors.

Yes, I agree about the Custom Shop putting out some fantastic guitars in recent years. The majority of the guitars I own are C.S. produced and I couldn't be happier with them. I also agree with veeman about the affordability part.....with the purchase of this Reverse Silverburst it's going to take me awhile to recover financially!!

true true...
just got excited when I didn't see dots, but you are, of course, correct.

personally I prefer the look of trapezoids overall...that being said...I would never *ever* turn down a V with blocks.
never seen one in person though.  given rarity, I suspect thereis a good chance I may not.

Yes, I like trapezoids as well.  The Robot & the V Standard are the only 2 models I know of that have them.  But who knows?  It seems Gibson is churning out a lot of "mutations" lately.  Well, if you really desired a V with block inlays, I'm sure you could obtain one.  Damn, I just love guitars period!!  That's why I love this forum so much....I get to talk about my favorite model.
