This one I really like, but why is the back of the guitar not bursted? Anyone know if the originals was like this?

I don't know about the original '67, but it sure doesn't look as good without the burst. I have an '81 with a tobacco burst on the back and it looks great of course. What kills it for me on this one is the Maestro.....I HATE those arms. But that's me, obviously others dig them and were originally present on '67's. Also, this seller's price is WAY too high!!  One should EASILY be able to get one of these for $2,250....even someone in Europe.  Just my 2 cents;-)

Lovely guitar.

Bit naughty to list it as 'new' though, as I happen to know it's had at least three owners.

You can see it's a used example anyway from the pic of the tuning posts - Gibson never issues factory guitars with that much excess string length. So it's obviously been played. 

Shouldn't really list a guitar as new unless it's in unplayed condition.
