They had some notation regarding the first edition that said new ones were not available. They also listed used first editions for $144 available from 2 sources. Maybe they went out of print and someone cornered the market. Who would have thought.

And of course, getting the older edition of the same book ensures... um... that you don't get the added information/value of the new edition? But it smells older... Score!
