1968 AMC AMX street and strip, street legal, 434" SBC, 18X, 18 degree Brodik heads, Dart block, Eagle 4340 rods & crank, full roller cam (.630 lift) with Iskee red zone lifters, T&D shaft rockers, J&E piston that are 10.6:1 compression, Brodik intake with Quick fuel carburetor, Motor plates and midplate. Full certified chrome molly cage good until 12/07. New Hoosier Quick time pros, custom aluminum radiator that looks like stock. Mezzier water pump and dual customs electric fans. Power master starter and 100 amp race alternator (I never charge the battery). The motor cost over $14,000 to build by Luckovich race engines. I used to race this car in the local street class and never had over heating problems.I've gone 9 rounds in 1.5 hrs and it worked great !! Our street class is round robin with no cool down time. 10 gallon fuel cell with gauge and Optima battery in trunk. Rossler turbo 400 with aluminum drum with trans brake, ATI 8"tree master convertor (4,800 stahl), back halved with custom chrome molly ladder bars, Ford 9", Afco single adjustable shocks, strut front end. New flow master 3.5"muffler and complete coated exhaust by Airborne. New 2"headers custom made and coated by Airborne. Every part in this engine is aftermarket no stock junk used!! Electronic speedometer and tach.Line lock etc. This car can run on pump gas (I run race gas most of the time). Fiberglass hood, rest of the car is stock steel parts.Car weights about 2,850 lbs. without driver. Strip or street legal, 10.12 @ 138 mph in 1/4, I have over $38K invested. This car is a foot brake car and has no box but does have a trans brake. This car was on Horse Power T.V. (with different motor).This is the ultimate street machine.The color is 1982 Corvette blue with white strips. I have set this car up for street racing, the Turbo 400 and the engine rev very quickly!!This is one fast car on the street and it handles great and really hooks up.This car has about 100 1/8 mile passes on it.I also ran it about 15 times in the?ile.
