I have a sunburst pair (1998 and a 1999) of American Standard Telecasters - I wish to keep the 1998 pretty much stock and want to buy a set of terrific pickups for the 1999 for hard Rock, metal shredding etc. without destroying the guitars vintage good looks and aesthetics, any qualified suggestions? Let me know if the pots will need to be changed too!
