Hi guys,

I am trying to find the perfect single coil neck pickup. I have an ash body, maple neck, standard american tele. I recently added a Joe Barden double rail and a Callaham bridge with brass saddles and a chrome pickguard. My favorite sound is Jeff Buckley's bell-like neck p.u. I believe his was stock, but I need something with more output to compete with the barden, and also maximum clarity. Any suggestions??

I'm contemplating a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound, but I wasn't thrilled with the Little '59 double coil I tried in the bridge -- very muffled.

I just installed a Dimarizio True Velvet neck PU in my Fender Mex. Std. Tele. Big improvement over the standard PU. I also have a Fender OV in the neck of my other Tele and prefer the Dimarizo. You can order from Sigler Music on the web.
