I am trying to upgrade my speakers in my twin re-issue I find the jensen re- makes to brittle and harsh. I've had the amp for two years hoping they would break in. Up graded all the tubes pre and output compliments VTV. Gear I use is occasionally a modded TS9 and or delay and my axe  is a blonde nitro lacq ash boddied/ huge maple neck tele with 10% over fralins. My guitar was custom built 2 years ago. Basically I am looking for ideas on speakers new webers or ems etc etc etc.

Check out Weber Speakers, they make a couple different ones that would work well in your amp, also I was thinking about getting Celestion Alnico Golds.  There are so many kinds of speakers out there I'm a little overwhelmed too.  I'm replacing the speakers in my Twin Reverb Reissue too.  Same complaint, to brittle, other than that, it's amazing.  If you get any other ideas or see anything interesting let me know. <div>

Thanks Webers on the way .....Ted recomended 12F150 and 12F150B. Beam Blockers Too I know alot of players around Baltimore/DC that swear by 'em in small clubs and have no complaints on micing.
