Are there any TeleModders who use a Bigsby Palm Pedal? I just found an old 7ties BP15 which I wanna put on a Tele. Any tips on use and installation are very welcome. Thanks, Natsteel

okay ... I add something to my Palm Pedal monologue ....
don't know if anybody is reading this actually ...

Recently there were some Palm Pedals sold on Ebay -

Ebay - BP15 no 1 sold for US $305

Ebay - BP15 no 2 sold for US $223

Ebay - BP15 no 3 sold for US $204

Also got in contact with Boomer Castleman - who invented the Bigsby Palm Pedal back in the 7ties.

Well, I don't have a palm pedal, Maurits, but I'd LOVE to try one! Can you tell us about your interaction with Boomer?

Hey, I've got a couple of Bigsby B5s sitting around...want to swap for them?

Wow, seeing them go for that much on ebay is a little insane, considering they ARE still being made, just not by bigsby, theyre licensed to some guy who manufactures em, with all sortsa new options and such.

nice buncha palm pedals you got there

Sorry Eric - I have a B5 waiting for a body - but looking for a B16 for I want to build a butterscotsch 52 replica first.
But if you have a B16 somewhere in your tele partsbox we can swap.

Another BP15 turned up at Ebay just the other day - a few days left on action- see what this one gonna fetsh - New BP15 on Ebay

A few weeks ago I got mail from Boomer who told me he recorded an album with Palm Pedal music - on his six pedal unit.
Album is called "Personal Notes". He made me an offer to send me the cd so I can start learning palm pedal.
Also on the internet I found a webpage with Bending Tunes
It is on the website of String Benders - Lessons but the whole page is in Windows RA format - which I cannot open on my MAC. Maybe for others to listen ...

And Yes DJG105 - prices on old BP15's are a little insane, I agree - while they still being produced by
Dan Balde - at BigsbyPalmPedal.com
But hey - Telecasters are still being made and the old 'vintage' ones are more expensive then the new ones .... and believing Ebay -"Vintage" is up to 1999.
seems the 'emotional value' adds to the price -

hey natsteel, off topic- I LOVE your website!  some really great information on there, especially all of them patent drawings, and enough bigsbys for hours of drooling, nice work.

RE:Bigsby Palm Pedal?
(Date Posted:06/19/2009 19:34:52)

Hi - any idea where I can get palm pedals, with installation instructions  -  I used to know a great player around Woodstock, Larry Federman, who used them on a cream colored Strat - and wouldn't you know it - I'm playing a cream colored strat!

Thanks so much......
