Considering a vibrola trem for a new project, anyone ever done this or seen it done?

Here's the one I'm looking at:

what bridge are you using? simplest would be a mustang or jazzmaster/jaguar type. you could probably mount that behind a 3 saddle, but you'd need to shim crazy tall. the first type bridge would require drilling some big holes in your guitsteel.

but, if you mount a bigsby b5 (more bucks) you could easily use an old school 3 barrel. grind down the backplate and you're there.

I was thinking bigsby for awhile, but I'm holding out for a fender liscenced piece if I do it at all. Saw this little guy on guitarfetish and thought it'd be fun to slap it on a little mexi standard. Dig the idea of using a jag type bridge. At this point in this guitars life, cosmetics are secondary, I can dress it up later, or just ditch the whole thing.
