$%*'`[tele711]%*'`@I am purchasing a 1997 Fender Nashvillee Telecaster with a b bender. It says it is an american standard. I looked on The harmony central gear review site and all the reviews said it was a mexican made guitar. I want to know how do i know if its an american or Mexican? Any info appreciated!!!!

The most common Nashville's are MIM, but the models with the benders were American made, I think they quit making them a few years ago.

American Nashville
I don't know much about them, only that they are wired up differently than the MIM Nashvilles.
The MIM's stock wiring doesn't allow for the Bridge/Neck combo like the American ones do. Other than that I don't know any of the specs on them.

If it's Mexican the Serial number should start with MZ.  I have one and really like it.
