We live in Colorado and tend to have very deep snow several times a year. My mini loves to play in the snow, but I worry because the snow gets deeply matted and stuck in her hair. Towel drying takes extremely long as the snow is stuck deep in the hair and there is a lot of it, and it is difficult to get my mini to sit still for long enough to towel dry. We have also tried the hair dryer, but she seems to be afraid of the sound it makes (I don't think it is the heat as she will gladly sit in front of the heater and let the warm air blow on her when it is cold out). Someone recently suggested that I put her paws in luke-warm water to help melt the snow before brushing it out. Does anyone have any advice on this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
