I am wondering where to find a short (less than 5 FT) agility tunnel.  We took some time this winter and made tunnels in the snow for Kaiser our 1yr old MS.  He LOVED them, but as spring draws near his tunnels will melt and I'd love to get him a play tunnel for the back yard.  Are childrens play tunnels the same thing or is there some inportant difference?

How very cleaver!  I want to come play at your house

When I first started agility training, I used those kid's play tunnels from Toys R Us (worked great!); used an old plastic garbage can, cut out the bottom, and attached a huge tarp for a chute (with Era Plus jugs and bungee cords to hold it down); used small plastic tubing formed in a circle, taped it together, and attached it to 2 toilet plungers for our "fancy" tire jump.  Now I'm a tad more sophisticated - I have a very nice triple and double jump, and I think my weave poles are the best home made ones I've seen, all made from PVC.  Although I do have 2 sides of an Aframe, but have no idea (and no real will) to put them together!  <G>  So I'm not as sophisticated as I lead on....  If I find any photos of this stuff, I'll send them later.  It's funny to see!

Here is Katie's original agility equipment, much of which is still in use. The photos were on my computer, not hers:

Everything but the toy tunnels was made by Katie. The uprights for her tire was made out of toilet plungers<G>, and the table is a plastic box used for mixing cement (but used by me for a whelping box), then sporting a bit of carpeting on top. The closed chute was a large plastic garbage can with the bottom sawed off with a large plastic tarp attached. Everything made for a very workable agility course.

Pedigree indicates what the animal should be.
Conformation indicates what the animal appears to be.
But performance indicates what the animal actually is.

Thanks!  Thats great help, especially since I do not have a huge back yard, it will be nice to customize to fit.
