Reply to : Sooner Scnauzers Can a mini that has been clippered be in Obedeience competition?Yes. They must only be strippedfor conformation. Your dog can still be stripped even though he has now been clippered, but you will have to let his coat grow out before pulling, and it might have to be stripped a couple times to get a decent texture.Thereis another breeder in Oklahoma who might help you with any of your questions:http://amsc.us/breeders.htmlAlong with Anne Lockney, I am a bit curious as to your dog's pedigree, etc., but since
Hi Mrs. Brittan,
First allow me to say, I really appreciate all the love and attention you give to your dogs. The many years you have put into your ms is evident in the quality and beautiful dogs you produce and not to mention all those champions!!
Ok first I will tell you my dog's pedigree that is listed on his certificate issued to me from the AKC
Lets start off with my dog

I do not have Liberty Janes info on me here at work. But I will get that info to you when I get home if you wish. I know her Sire is Aachen something and more Ruedesheims inlcuding Billionaire again are listed there, But I will get out the AKC pedigree and get you that.
Next. Thank you for answering my quiery. I was thinking that I read they can be in other AKC events.
To be honest I did not notice his bowleg until she did clip him. I did not know that a bad cut can make him appear to be bowleg. LOL funny word, anyway. And I beleive I did read on your site that a coat MAY return to normal. After a few strippings. That would be great if it did, but I still do not know about stripping him myself. Boldrick starts school tomorrow I will see what the instructor thinks.
I am familiar with Premier Schnauzers, and Susanne Short here in Oklahoma, but I have been kind of nervous in talking to her. I did not want to get yelled at again for asking questions. LOL.
But I completely understand Anne's reaction, just did not expect it to be so extreme.
Please let me assure you my only reason for breeding is to improve upon what my dog is lacking and maybe someday get me my homegrown champion. All dogs I produce will not leave my home until my vet has either spade or nuetered them. And if a suitable home can not be found then I will have one big happy family. I will run my kennel by the guidelines of the AKC and the AMSC. My whole life has been spent with dogs. My mother was a sucker for a stray. We lived in a small (I mean really small) town, 15 graduating seniors, and my mother was always finding strays that were dropped off out in the country she would bring them home and get them fixed and we would have anywhere from 5 to 15 dogs. Some mom would keep others she would find homes for. And our chores always centered around dogs. And so I do understand and I love them very much.
I appreciate all of your time. You are a one in a million breeder for offering all of the information that you do.
