Not just reserve best dog, he also got the RCC. Adam was second only to the BOB winner who has since gone on to place 2nd in the group. He put on a lovely performance in the ring

A reserve challenge certificate is issued to each sex, should the CC winner be disqualified (eg for failing a coat test or not having been entered correctly at the show) then the RCC winner will get the CC (you need 3 CC's under 3 separate judges for the dog to become a champion, one CC must be won after the dog turns 12 months old - ie we cannot have a puppy champion)

A RCC also wins your dog his stud book number and this win is recorded in the Kennel Club stud book which is published annually and the stud book number gives your dog life time qualification for Crufts.

The open dog class was very interesting, there were champions from America, UK, Germany, Italy, Netherlands and Scandinavia and there were dogs with full tails and even a white dog entered
