When I first sign on, I may notice that there are multiple new messages. After I read the first one, all the icons are identical, indicating that there are no new messages on these boards. Thus far it hasn't been too difficult todetermine which thread has the new message(s), but this won't be true for much longer. Karen I'm not sure which set of icons you are referring to.  I have changed the Aimoo icons on the main board to my schnauzer-head icon.  When there are new posts, he says "Woo Woo."  I have not gotten to changing icons within the categories yet (for the threads) but those should be as Aimoo had them.  I will try to give it some attention today. Thanks for bringing this up.

HOORAY!!!!! 

A while back, Karen B. posted a question in the HELP category of this forum asking how to go to the most recent posts instead of having to scroll ALL THE WAY DOWN.

I just figured it out!!!!!  (Karen probably already has.... 

AFTER you click on the category you wish to read, slide your eyes over as far as you can go to the left on the topic you want to check out.  You will see the number of replies, screenname and date of the last post, and an arrow!!!!  That little arrow is key.  If you click on it, it will take you directly to the most recent message in that topic.  Try it out!  It's great.

Sorry it took so long for me to discover this.  I'm a "learn-by-doing" sort of gal!!!
