Ritchie Co. H. S. will be holding a throws clinic on Feb. 16, 2008 As with past clinics, we will start at 9:00 am with instruction on learning the discus turn and supporting drills. We will break for lunch at noon and start again about 1:00 pm with the shot put. For most athletes, the focus will be on the glide technique but for those interested, we can cover the spin as well and will plan to finish up around 3:00 pm. This is most definitely a, "learn by doing" clinic so come prepared to work. The cost for the clinic is $10.00 / athlete. Coaches wishing to attend can do so for free.
