Heard from Michael Hardbarger today, Ritchie County '05, and he is putting up some impressive times @ Rochester Institute Of Technology.  He had a great cross-country season (sub-26 for 8k) and he has already run 1000-2:33.19; 1 Mile-4:18.40; 3000-8:31.38; & 5000-15:23.52 this indoor season.  You can check out his progress @ http://www.ritathletics.com/index.asp?path=mtrk&tab=mens

I talked with Michael at the Heart Fund 5K run in St. Marys following his senior year of high school, and at that time, he was very unsure whether or not he wanted to run collegiately.  Thankfully, he decided to run and has apparently decided to do it wholeheartedly.

Hardbarger Update

Michael ran 4:13.88 for the Mile Saturday; NCAA DII Provisional.
Will try to improve on that time at Harvard this week, attempting to get into the Nationals.
