Howdy yall whats crackin? Anyhow my name is Matt. I live about 30mins from the track in Leesburg. Long time rc'er and collector. I have alot of old school rc's and would like to enter or start a couple races for said oldness. Now i dont want to over step myself with my first post and this is all just an idea. The only thing that i have that is competitive is a modified frog. IMO it isnt about being fast just paying homage to our roots.

Again just an idea. I also have a couple of 1/8 scale buggies. well let me hear your input

You haven't been around the hobby for a while. Keep those on the shelf they look a lot better. We really are racing more modern stuff. They are a lot more durable and easier to drive. The 1/8 scales might be doable. We have a couple of guys the come from that area.

Ive got one better. I say we all go to Walmart and buy those $29.99 RC Vehicles, the ones that always land on the wheels with the stick remotes. We can have a money race. No one would have an advantage since they are all the same. Ha! That would be awesome! Or maybe even get those RC 4 wheelers and race those things. Im losing my f'ing mind!! But how cool would that be? Walmart Special could be the name of the class. $5 entry fee, winner takes all!

hmmmmm im not exactly enthused with that reply. I was simply making a suggestion. sorry it wasnt to your liking. what exactly you was trying to imply with not being in the sport for "a while" I havent been around rc racing for sometime while dealing with other things. i was trying to get back into it for fun. guess when i go to walmart to grab that new rc ill grab the newest rc car action and bring myself into 2010/11. thanks for the warm welcome

WE could even attatch "mini" screens to the rear, and groom the track at the same time! Screen spec; 3"X 4", 48 pick-weave. color: Grey Method of attatchment; "Hasbro" std issue cotton kite string, 6" in total length, 4 half hitches for securement. BE advised, yer gonna have to tech Danny, before every heat. He can make a marshmellow fast!
