Some time ago I mentioned my mustang mare (not Kiger) was having episodes of moon blindness. If you've never dealt with this, be grateful. I tracked her episodes the past 3 springs. It appears seasonal and has gotten worse every year with more episodes. All are were in Feb & Mar until 06 when there were also episodes in April (we had a late spring in 06) This January I started giving her an herbal treatment daily for uvitis that our equine acupuncturist concocts. I am happy to report that my mare has had NO episodes this year. I can't tell you what a relief this is. If anyone else should have this problem, you might try this.
