Hi you lingerers at the watering hole,
I wanted to announce the arrival of a little grulla filly out of my mare Sora Sonora (aka the grulla Trinket, not to be confused with our Kiger Cowboy's horse) and by my stallion Silver Bullet.
Everyone is doing well, the little one is rambunctious and has more energy then anyone at this point. She is my second foal ever born in the daylight, around 11:30 west coast time. Usually they foal at about 5AM Delivery was easy and the mare is doing well.
She has no white, and a nice shoulder stripe, good leg stripes, and excellent ear barring, in addition to a dorsal. Her foal coat is a nice wolf-color grey. At least today before it gets lightened by the sun! Pictures later, since I do not have a digital camera.
One more to go, my dun Kiger Steens Maria, who is due the same time, and they were both overdue!
